Ship Inspection

All the ships entering the Port of Taichung must examined by Quarantine Inspection Office for the following:

Quarantine test: Ships with special reasons (for example: damaged ships), need special application to approach for testing.
Sanitation Test: Holders of sanitation certificates can opt for off board sanitation testing.
Radio: Checking the information and documents via radio.
Holding area: Check for quarantined items, passing ships are allowed into the harbor.
Second harbor: Transfers from other harbors in Taiwan can opt for off board testing.
Around island: Boats working in the Taiwan area that have applied for the process in the sanitation office can opt for off board testing.
