Piloting Service Office

PILOTING: Ships should apply for piloting service for domestic vessels over 1000 gross tons or foreign vessels over 500 gross tons that will enter or exit the forced piloting area of Taichung Harbor. However, domestic warships, official vessels, ferries, yachts, authorized domestic regular vessels and port working vessels are not required to apply for piloting service.

	Piloting Service Office
	Piloting personnel: Total 17 qualified piloting personnel. Four persons are on duty and for persons are on stand-by at night. Two sets of piloting personnel provide piloting service for vessels entering or exiting Taichung Harbor.
