圖示Passenger Service Charges：
All international departure passengers shall be levied the following passenger services charges.

1. Before boarding, all international passengers should pay passenger services charges at the Harbor Bureau Passenger Service Center. After payment and inspection by the harbor police, the passengers are permitted to board ship. The aforesaid referred to passengers on an international vessel departing abroad from any international port in Taiwan.
2.The aforesaid passengers arriving by ship to the R.O.C. and then departing by the same ship may have their services charges collected by their shipping agent. Together with their passenger list, the charges are to be submitted by the agent to the port authority.
3.Passengers taking a domestic liner are exempted from service charges.
4.The following personnel are exempted from passenger service chareges upon verification of their credentials.

(1)A chief of state and his/her dependents.
(2)A prime minister and his/her dependents.
(3)A minister from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and his/her dependents.
(4)An ambassador or other diplomats stationed in foreign countries.
(5)Other people with special privileges.
(6)Children under 2-years of age.

Charges for placement or removal of a gangway and length of usage (which is calculated per hour basis) shall be collected separately.

  1. A gangway is to be placed as soon as a ship or ferry boat berths. It is not to be removed at any time until the ship’s departure. (Passenger safety requires that the gangway be available at all times while berthed) Only under certain conditions, with the Harbor Bureau’s permission can the gangway be removed from idle ships or ferries.
  2. Time of usage shall be counted by a minimum unit of 1 hour with any
    less than 1 hour fraction, or less than 1/2 hour fraction be counted as a 1/2 hour unit.
  3. Time charges for gangway start at the time the gangway arrives at the wharf, or the time the ship has requested gangway service-whichever is later-Time charges end when gangway is removed for ship’s departure. In the case where there is multiple gangway usage in a single berth, the time can add on and considered as one charge.
  4. The number of workers needed to put up/remove the gangway is based on the labor hie regulations.
  5. Domestic liners receive the same passenger gangway charges as international liners or ferries.
  6. Flexible rates are implemented from June 21, 2001 with 20% discount.
