Ship & Machinery Repairing Works, under the port authority of Taichung Harbor, owning the only one dry dock in middle Taiwan, has offered high-efficiency, high-quality and customer-oriented ship-repairing service for years, not only to the authority-owned boats but also to the boats of private companies. Ten boats, 2 authority-owned and 8 private-owned, have been repaired from January to May in 2009. It raised NT 10 millions of revenue before tax. At the same time, the works also finished 89 repairing items of self-owned tugs. Ship & Machinery Repairing Works will endeavor to offer high-efficiency and high-quality ship-repairing service to meet all the ship-owners’ requirements in the future. .
